Terms of use
Last updated: 18 Oct 2026. This is the first version and may be updated.
The service
Darna is a marketplace. Shops and drivers are independent; Darna is not the seller of the goods. Orders are paid in cash on delivery for now.
Orders and cash
Delivery fees are set by the driver the shop chooses, and the customer sees the fee once a driver is chosen. Customers pickup from the shop at no delivery fee. Cash on delivery limits apply, including a lower limit on a first order. Please keep exact change ready.
Shops
Shops must describe items honestly, keep prices and availability up to date, and respond to orders in time. Unanswered orders expire. After a 30-day free trial, shops pay a monthly subscription (currently AED 49) by bank transfer. Darna takes no commission on orders. Any change to these charges will be announced in advance.
Drivers and companies
Drivers must carry valid documents, follow the pickup code check, and hand the cash they collect to Darna as settled in the app. Companies are responsible for the drivers they add.
Refunds and complaints
Customers can request a refund or return from the order page. Darna reviews each request and decides fairly.
Accounts
Darna may suspend or close an account for fraud, abuse, repeated no-shows or breaking these terms.
Declaration and undertaking
Customers, shops and drivers also accept the Declaration and undertaking for their role, which is part of these terms.
Law
These terms follow the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
